Rod Re-builds

This is for my Daughter in Law, Jamie. With 2-boys, she needs to be ready for fishing. It's a 6' Med, 2-piece Spinning Rod, Lure weight 1/8 to 1/2 oz. It's wrapped in an Auburn University Theme with the AU logo. The reels is an Energy E2-1 that has been modified with 2-more bearings (actually making it an E5-2). The guides are Fuji Alconite Concept guides, thread is Gudebrode. The slip ring on the reel seat is marbleized as is a strip in the middle of the wrap above the logo.

I also built a blue (Vivian) and pink (Emma) from 2-old rods that belonged to their late Uncle Barry - I'll inscribe them so the girls will have something tangible to remember him by. They're the same specifications as Jamie's but include girlie stuff like glitter and striking thread colors. The pink rod has a reel like Jamie's and the Blue rod an Energy 2-2 (modified with more bearings). They too have Stainless Steel, Fuji Alconite Concept Guides.
I have also refurbished a 7' 2-piece spinning reel provided by my Son-in-Law, Brian (Barry's older brother) with a new thread scheme using Fuji Hardloy guides, marblization and cork handle repair. No pictures of this rod yet. It will be matched with an Energy E7-2 or Energy 3-2 - not sure which as of now.
In progress is a University of TN casting rod, 7', 1-piece, heavy rated for lures 1/4-1 oz. Since Jamie is a AU fan, thought I better build my son a UT rod.
I have refurbished 2-rods for my elderly father in law - he won't be fishing them but thought they would be nice memento's in years to come. One sports a Navy logo and the other some thread work art and high end Pacific Bay guides, stainless.
